Eric Bird, Founder & CEO, is an AAMI Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) with over 25 years of experience. His journey began at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center where he attended the U.S. Medical Equipment & Optical School (USAMEOS). Eric was awarded Distinguished Honor Graduate after finishing top of his class in 1998. Serving his country around the world was an honor and a privilege, one that taught him invaluable skills that have since formed the foundation of his career.

Throughout his years in the military, he learned how to repair, maintain and operate a wide variety of medical equipment, including X-ray machines, ventilators, and defibrillators. This experience equipped him with a deep understanding of how critical biomedical equipment is to healthcare providers, patients, and their families. Today, as a civilian biomedical equipment technician, he continues to draw on the skills he learned in the Army to ensure that healthcare professionals have access to high-quality, reliable medical equipment support.

Upon completing his Army service, Eric's decision to attend the University of West Florida proved to be a rewarding one. After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Engineering Technology in 2013, he continued his education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. Throughout his time at the university, Eric gained valuable skills and knowledge that helped him further his career. By completing the MBA program in 2023, he demonstrated his commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to professional growth. With his education from the University of West Florida, Eric is well-equipped to tackle new challenges in the ever-evolving field of Healthcare Technology Management.
